Programs for foreigners


The university currently offers several study formats for foreign citizens:


Foundation. Kazakh language training program

One-year Kazakh language training program. It takes into account a student's starting level. Persons with no experience in learning the Kazakh language are accepted. Program participants will be offered advanced learning technologies that provide immersion in the language environment and develop the skills of speaking and writing, as well as its perception. Upon completion of the program a student will have a minimum of B1 proficiency in Kazakh.


Russian language training program

One-year Russian language training program. It takes into account a student's starting level. Persons with no experience in learning Russian are accepted. Program participants will be offered advanced learning technologies that provide immersion in the language environment and develop the skills of speaking and writing, as well as its perception. Upon completion of the program a student will have a minimum of B1 proficiency in Russian.


English language training program

One-year English language training program. It takes into account a student's starting level. The minimum level of language proficiency must be at least A1. Program participants will be offered advanced learning technologies that develop all types of speech activity. Upon completion of the program a student will have a minimum of B1 proficiency in English.


"Russian as a Foreign Language" program

The program is implemented in the bachelor's format and is designed for 4 years of study, or 240 credits. The student's starting level must be at least A2. The profile of the program is aimed at training a teacher of the Russian language for a foreign language audience. Students will study theoretical courses in linguistics, a practical course of the Russian language, methods of teaching it in a foreign language audience. The training takes place in conditions of maximum immersion in the language environment, provides live communication with native speakers of the Russian language. At the initial stage of training, English can be used for intermediary purposes. A graduate of the program will have proficiency in Russian at the C1 level.


Exchange programs

The university has experience in the implementation of exchange programs that can be formed taking into account the needs of incoming students. Before starting negotiations, you should study the proposals of our faculties and choose educational programs. By contacting the International Cooperation Department, you will receive a list of disciplines taught in the chosen program, including in English.
