ROUND TABLE DEDICATED TO THE 135TH ANNIVERSARY OF ALIMKHAN YERMEKOV
The Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology held a round table dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the birth of the first Kazakh mathematician, outstanding public figure, and statesman Alimkhan Abeuovich Yermekov.The dean of the faculty, faculty, and students participated in the scientific and educational meeting. The event focused on the life and scientific legacy of this pioneering figure.The main goal was to reveal the historical figure of Alimkhan Yermekov, to share his work in science and public administration with the younger generation as a role model, and to popularize the valuable legacy left by the national intelligentsia. Ybyraikhan Marat Ybyraikhanuly, a lecturer in the Faculty of History and a senior researcher at the Tulgatanu Research Center, delivered a thoughtful presentation on the scientist's life, his public activities, and his dedicated work in the scientific field.During the meeting, participants shared their thoughts and actively asked questions. The event took the form of an open dialogue and concluded with a constructive exchange of opinions.
