A large-scale environmental festival "TAZA QALA ECO FEST" was held in the Central Park of the capital of miners, organized as part of the all-Republican campaign "TAZA QAZAQSTAN" with the participation of volunteers of railway workers of the Karaganda region and residents of the city. The Karaganda branch of Kazproftrans provided assistance in holding the event. - The main goal of the ecofestival is to take care of nature, separate waste collection-sorting garbage into separate fractions (paper, glass, plastic, metal, organic matter) for subsequent processing and use as secondary raw materials, – said Asyl Sadvakasov, a car Inspector of the Karaganda car depot GDP-13. -In addition, conscious consumption, which includes the principles of reducing waste generation at all stages from purchase to use, is important, which complements and enhances the effect of separate collection, as well as the development of ecological culture, popularization of volunteer movements, respect for work and education of the younger generation of Kazakhstanis to take care of nature, - he said. -Participants of the environmental festival were presented with various interesting tasks, interactive gifts for separate garbage collection, lectures, master classes, actions such as "hand over the cap and get an eco-token". KTZ Karaganda youth volunteered for the festival. They provided significant assistance in organizing, welcoming guests, accompanying projects, training, etc. - Our children's holiday of Ecology tried to be bright and creative for all participants. For us, volunteering is not only a voluntary work, but also a contribution to the common cause – the creation of a clean and safe environment, where every step towards the protection of nature is of great importance, - concluded Asyl Sadvakasov.
