Buketov University retains its 901+ position in the QS WUR 2026 ranking

The results of the QS WUR 2026 ranking, which assessed 8,467 universities from 106 countries, were published today. According to the ranking results, 1,501 universities were included in the world ranking.Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov retained its 901+ position, improving its results in 8 indicators. The best final assessment was noted for the indicator "Faculty to Student Ratio", for which the university scored 60 points (for comparison, according to the results of last year - 41.3). It should be especially noted that according to this indicator, the university took 301st place, which is 78 positions higher than last year's result.According to the indicator "Sustainable Development", the university showed significant progress - 22.3 points (last year - 1.0). Employers' trust in the university continues to grow: the indicator for this indicator was 36.7 points (24.5 last year).Among 20 Kazakhstani universities participating in the rating, Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov entered the TOP-10, taking 8th place.
