On April 27-28, 2023, the XIV Republican student subject olympiad in the educational program 6В01601 – «History» was held at the History Faculty of E.A. Buketov Karaganda University, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the newspaper «Kazakh».
16 teams representing almost all universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the olympiad.
The goal of the olympiad was to reveal the creative abilities, select and support the most talented and gifted students, promote the formation of the intellectual potential of students, involvement students and young scientists to solving current scientific problems, develop an interest in scientific activities according to the educational program, as well as to form a team to participate in republican and international olympiads.
The opening ceremony of the olympiad was held with the participation of the member of the Board, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of E.A. Buketov Karaganda University, Zhusipbek Talgat Zyparbekuly, as well as the Dean of the History Faculty of E.A. Buketov Karaganda University, Ph.D. of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor D.A. Dzhumabekov.
According to the final results, the prizes were distributed as follows:
1st place:
– «MUnar» team of M.Utemisov West Kazakhstan University, Oral;
2nd place:
– Team «SHYM QALA» South Kazakhstan state pedagogical university, Shymkent;
– Team «Zerde» Kazakh national pedagogical university named after Abai, Institute of History and Law, Almaty;
3rd place:
– Team «Tomiris» Kazakh national women's pedagogical university, Almaty;
– Team of «Tobyl oishyly» Kostanay regional university named after A. Baitursynov, Kostanay;
– Team «Torgay ulandary» Arkalyk pedagogical institute named after Y. Altynsarin, Arkalyk.
Thus, the XIV Republican student subject olympiad on the educational program 6B01601 – «History» was held in strict accordance with the rules of the olympiads.
