The volleyball tournament and roundtable discussion in Atyrau, a city connecting Asia and Europe, have come to an end. Karaganda National Research University named after Academician E.A. Buketov rightfully took first place. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, the Department of Physical Education and Basic Military Training, and the Chairman of the University Sports Club, our brother Rafael Khabirov, who organized this event. They met the faculty at the train station and provided the necessary transportation for daily activities. The faculty of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports expresses their gratitude to the management of KARAGANDA BUKETOV UNIVERSITY for sending them on this trip, as well as to the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, Zh.B. Abishev.
The event included an exchange of opinions, a game of basketball, and the opportunity to meet colleagues from regional universities. Most importantly, the faculty of Buketov University of Karaganda won the first tournament organized among professors and lecturers from universities across the Republic of Kazakhstan. The number of teams was small, and that's something to be proud of. However, there were also only a handful of teams participating in the first Olympic Games. Thus, the faculty of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports found themselves at the center of a historic moment. The tournament, which involved M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, A. Kuatbekov Peoples' Friendship University, West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, and the host country, can be called the beginning of a new era for workers in this field. The faculty of Buketov University is proud to be participating in such a historic tournament. After exchanging opinions with the university leaders who led their teams, the faculty of Buketov University is confident that similar meetings will continue in the future.
