On May 5, 2022 the results of III International Online Olympiad by the specialty “Restaurant & Hotel Business”, organized by the Department of “Marketing”, Institute of Research of Digital Economy of the Karaganda Buketov University. The number of participants in this year’s Olympiad was 42 (15 teams), represented by the students and master students of regional universities, as well as CIS countries.
The participants approached the tasks creatively: for the first round it was necessary to develop a “Customer Journey Map” of a food facility (fast food restaurant / coffee shop, etc.), within the framework of the second round - to provide videos, the most popular of which were: “Innovations in foodtech” , “Motion-animation in the promotion of food and drinks”.
The works of the participants were distinguished by novelty, creativity and high practical relevance.
In accordance with the final result, the prizes by the direction of “Customer Journey Map”, were distributed as follows:
1st place:
The team of the students “Volshebnye yedinorogi” of the Saint Petersburg State University of Economics (Russian Federation) with the following members: Konstantinova Sofja Ilinichna, Gorn Davyd Andreevich, Mihajlov Egor Sergeevich.
Scientific leader: Ruglova Lidija Vladimirovna – Candidate of Pedagogigal Sciences, Associated Professor.
2nd place:
- The team of the students “Mastera gostepriimstva” of the Kuban State Technological University (Russian Federation) with the following members: Menshikov Sergej Aleksandrovich, Mosienko Adelina Alekseevna, Hachatrjan Anna Bagratovna.
Scientific leader: Bugaec Natalja Alekseevna – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associated Professor.
3rd place:
- The team of the students “AIARU” of the Karaganda Buketov University (Republic of Kazakhstan) with the following members: Masgutova Ajzere Ajdosovna, Ergalieva Aruzhan Kajratovna, Tleutaj Aruzhan Rustemkyzy.
Scientific leaders: Toleuuly Almas – PhD, Associated Professor, Dzhumabaeva Sholpan Bahytovna – Master of Economics, Senior Lecturer.
In accordance with the final result, the prizes in the direction of “Video” were distributed as follows:

- The team of the students “Zvezdy puteshestvij” of the State Institute of Economics, Finance, Law and Technology (Russian Federation) with the following members: Aristova Mila Nikolaevna, Ljashova Viktorija Igorevna.
Scientific leader: Tanina Anna Valerevna – Candidate of Economics, Associated Professor.
2nd place:
- The team of the students “Feniks” of the Kazakh-American Free University (Republic of Kazakhstan) with the following members: Mejrembaeva Riza Temirhanovna, Kajrasheva Ajazhan Almaskyzy, Alejnikova Anastasija Evgenevna.
Scientific leaders: Kalieva Arajlym Erikovna, Ajtkazina Madina Maratovna.
- The team of the students “Fiery Hoteliers” of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (Russian Federation) with the following members: Nikonova Marina Andreevna, Vojcehovskaja Anastasija Sergeevna, Aleksejchenko Anastasija Vladimirovna.
Scientific leader: Pavljuchenkov Aleksej Fedorovich – Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management.
3rd place:
- The team of the students “Team AlmaU” of the AlmaU (Republic of Kazakhstan) with the following members: Zhaugasharova Aruzhan Madenietovna, Kim Diana Sergeevna, Kylyshbaeva Zarema Nuralankyzy.
