On May 15, 29 certificates were awarded to faculty members and students of Namangan State Pedagogical Institute (Uzbekistan) as part of the international project “Infinity Sport Internship — Sport Without Borders.”During the event, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, M.M. Umurkulova, expressed her gratitude to the guests for their visit and the engaging, well-organized program.“Our countries are connected not only by a shared history but also by a lasting friendship. We maintain close cooperation with universities across many fields. Thank you for bringing new ideas, not only in the area of sports but also in pedagogy. The project’s title reflects ambitious goals, and your young people know what they want to achieve. Our doors are always open to you — come and join us in competitions, Olympiads, and any academic events,” she said.In turn, Murodkhon Rashidkhanovich Kodirkhonov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, shared his impressions of the project and expressed his gratitude to the departments of Buketov Karaganda University, especially to the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, Zhandos Bakhytovich Abishev, for their active participation in the project.“Your university has strong and well-established traditions. You have outstanding scholars in various faculties — particularly in the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Physics and Technology. We visited the Technopark and the Saryarka Archaeological Museum. The main purpose of our visit was to organize competitions in three sports: Kazakh national wrestling (kazakhsha kures), streetball, and mini-football. Students from both universities became friends — and that was one of our main goals,” he emphasized.Later that day, a meeting was held between Alisher Akhmadzhanovich Isokbayev and the Vice-Rector for Socio-Cultural Development, N.A. Zhetpisbayev. The parties discussed future cooperation plans, which are expected to become one of the key areas for strengthening educational and cultural collaboration.
