TALENTED YOUTH IS TRENDING

N.O. Dulatbekov, Rector of the E.A. Buketov KarNIU, met with a team of students from the Faculty of Biology and Geography, who represented the university with distinction at the prestigious international environmental competition "Eco-zakovat," which took place from June 6 to 9 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
The meeting was attended by the team's leader, Roza Musina, a senior lecturer in the Department of Botany and a Master of Ecology, who prepared the students for the competition, and A.G. Zhumina, Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Geography.
The Rector congratulated the participants on their outstanding result – winning second place among the strongest teams from Central Asia and the Caucasus.
The international competition brought together talented and proactive young people from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and all regions of Uzbekistan. The participants demonstrated a deep understanding of ecology, environmental protection, sustainable development, rational use of natural resources, and contemporary environmental challenges.
Team captain Alisher Zheksembayev, a fourth-year student in the Ecology program, shared his impressions:
"We learned about this competition through our university. Of course, we were nervous before the competition, but the friendly atmosphere helped us adapt quickly. Seventeen universities from Uzbekistan and universities from six foreign countries participated in the competition. We worked as a united team, supported each other, and managed to secure a place among the winners."
The team's success is a clear demonstration of the high level of preparation of KarNIU students, their commitment to scientific inquiry, and their active participation in solving pressing environmental issues of our time.
Congratulations to our students and their mentors on their well-deserved award! We wish them new victories, remarkable achievements, and continued success on the international stage!
