Today, eight faculty members from the Faculty of Foreign Languages at KARAGANDA BUKETOV UNIVERSITY, led by Dean A.K. Kitibayeva, met with Rector N.O. Dulatbekov and shared the results of their working visit to Tashkent and Samarkand, aimed at developing international academic cooperation.
According to the delegation, Uzbekistan welcomed them with wonderful weather, which contributed to productive work, a good mood, and creative inspiration.
The trip focused on strengthening partnerships with leading universities in Uzbekistan, developing new areas of collaboration, and improving existing dual-degree educational programs.
During the visit, university representatives visited:
Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University, one of the largest and oldest scientific and educational centers in the country;
Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, a leading specialized university training translators, foreign language teachers, and tourism specialists. The main goal of the trip was to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation, expand international ties, exchange experiences in education and science, and discuss prospects for joint projects.
Particular attention was paid to meetings with students from Uzbekistan. Many of them expressed interest in pursuing academic mobility programs at KARAGANDA BUKETOV UNIVERSITY. Opportunities for developing translation and training specialists for work in an environment of growing international cooperation were also discussed.
Following the meeting, new objectives were outlined for the preparation of a joint international monograph, expanding scientific collaboration, and further promoting the Faculty of Foreign Languages in the global educational arena.
International cooperation opens new opportunities for the professional growth of faculty, academic mobility of students, and improving the quality of education.
