MEETING WITH AFGHAN WAR VETERANS: MEMORY UNITING GENERATIONS

On February 11, an event dedicated to the 37th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan was held in Building 7 of the E. A. Buketov Karaganda National Research University. This date remains a significant chapter in history, recalling events that left a mark on the lives of thousands of people.Veterans of the Afghan War attended the meeting. They shared memories of their service and talked about their daily lives during the war. Despite the passing decades, veterans maintain an active stance on life.During the dialogue, students actively participated in the discussion, asking veterans questions and receiving detailed and insightful answers.Preserving the memory of those events is an important part of a person's upbringing. War is always associated with losses and trials, and understanding this helps to foster respect and a desire for a peaceful future.
