THE UNIVERSITY’S BEST CURATORS WERE HONOURED
On February 6, the Students’ Palace hosted a ceremonial award event for the winners of the “Best Curator” competition.Members of the university’s Board, including Vice-Rector for Strategic Development Yerbol Zhanbyrbayevich Sarmurzin, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Madina Maximovna Umurkulova, and Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development Nurzhan Argynovich Zhetpisbayev took part in the event. In his speech, Nurzhan Zhetpisbayev highlighted the high level of professional training of the curators, their responsible and attentive work in supporting students, and emphasized the importance of the curatorship institution in the system of youth education. Warm congratulations and best wishes were addressed to the award recipients.About 100 curators participated in the month-long competition. As a result of the selection process, 30 of the most proactive, creative, and responsible participants were recognized as active contributors, while 10 curators were awarded the title “Best Curator” for their significant contribution to student life and high professional standards.In particular, the following were named the best: Maksat Zhumasatuly and Nurlan Rakhmetollauly Yermekov (Faculty of Foreign Languages); Ardak Zholdybekovich Kuleimenov (Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports); Aigul Serikovna Musraunova (Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology); Meruert Ginayatovna Nazarova (Faculty of Philology); Gaukhar Shamugutovna Iskakova and Bayan Mukhambetovna Nurlanova (Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies); Zhannarkul Bolsynbekovna Satpayeva (Faculty of Chemistry); Kulpash Dakenovna Kenzhina (Faculty of Biology and Geography); Alfarabi Alpysbayuly Ablayev (Faculty of Pedagogy).The festive evening ended with a concert program. Performers included the folk dance ensemble “Zharkyn,” the folk-folklore ensemble “Saryn,” the contemporary dance studio “Oyu,” and Akpeil Anik, a soloist of the “Zhastar” vocal studio.
