Necmettin Erbakan University International Relations General Coordination Office and the Coffee Workshop of the Faculty of Tourism organized a special event for foreign students from Kazakhstan and Ukraine within the framework of the Erasmus+ program for international cooperation, learning and practical exchange. Sattar Birganym, Meirambek Aruzhan and Tulepova Aruzhan, 2nd year students of the “6B11401-Social Work” educational program of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, Department of Social Work and Social Pedagogy, who are studying under the academic mobility program, participated in this event.At the workshop held at the Coffee Workshop of the Faculty of Tourism, Professor, Dr. Ceyhun Can Ozcan and Associate Professor, Dr. Mustafa Junayt Shapcilar, teachers of the Department of Tourism Business, gave practical master classes to students on coffee culture, preparation methods and barista skills.During the event, students learned in-depth information about the history of coffee, types of beans, roasting methods, and professional coffee brewing techniques, and mastered skills such as preparing espresso-based drinks, preparing and serving Turkish coffee, milk frothing techniques, and creating latte art.Through such events, which support inter-university education and cultural exchange, the university will contribute to the academic and social development of international students.
