MAULEN ASHIMBAYEV FAMILIARIZED WITH THE SCIENTIFIC POTENTIAL OF BUKETOV UNIVERSITY

On November 25, Maulen Ashimbayev, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, visited Buketov University in Karaganda.

Maulen Ashimbayev learned about the activities of the Zh. He also visited the Renewable Energy Sources research laboratory, the Chemical Research Institute, and the Hydrogen Production and Storage Laboratory.

During the visit, the guest was presented with the university's best research projects for 2025. Scientists from the Physics and Engineering, Chemistry, Biology and Geography, and Law faculties presented their research using AI and modern environmental projects. Maulen Ashimbayev was particularly interested in the projects "Kazakhstani Society in the Context of Digital Transformation: Prospects and Risks," "Innovative Approaches to Ensuring Access to Justice for the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan Using Artificial Intelligence Tools," and "Innovative Approaches to Ensuring Access to Justice for the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan Using Artificial Intelligence Tools."

It's worth noting that at the technopark, undergraduates, master's students, and PhD students receive training on modern equipment and conduct research internships, completing final theses and projects.

The opening of the technopark has created a platform for scientists to implement innovative and applied research.
