On April 17, 2026, Nurlan Orynbasaruly Dulatbekov, Chairman of the Board and Rector of the Karaganda National Research University named after Academician E.A. Buketov, held an official meeting with Nozimakhon Eldarovna Gofurova, Doctor of Law (DSc), Associate Professor, and Faringiz Uktam kyzy Yusupova, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law, representing the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Legal Personnel under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues and prospects for the further development of international academic cooperation, expanding scientific ties between organizations, implementing joint educational and research initiatives, and strengthening cooperation in the field of legal training.
An important outcome of the meeting was the conclusion of a cooperation agreement aimed at developing joint research projects, holding educational and scientific events, exchanging experiences between faculty and researchers, and further strengthening international cooperation in legal education and science.
As part of the visit, foreign scholars also met with students of the Faculty of Law, where they delivered lectures on current issues of international law and human rights. Nozimakhon Eldarovna Gofurova delivered a lecture on "International Mechanisms for the Protection of Human Rights," which explored modern approaches to the international legal protection of human rights and freedoms, as well as the importance of universal and regional human rights mechanisms. Faringiz Uktam kyzy Yusupova delivered a lecture on "International Mechanisms for the Protection of Women's Labor Rights," highlighting issues of international labor standards, ensuring equality, and protecting women's rights in labor relations. The official meeting and lectures took place in an atmosphere of mutual respect, open professional dialogue, and interest in further collaboration. The agreements reached and the events held marked a significant step in strengthening the university's international ties and opened up new opportunities for the development of the Faculty of Law.
