REGIONAL PEDAGOGICAL OLYMPIAD

On November 28, 2025, the Faculty of Pedagogy, together with the Educational and Methodological Center for the Development of Education of the Karaganda Region, held a regional pedagogical olympiad for school students and students of pedagogical colleges participating in the regional profile project  «A Teacher — Proud to Be!»

The main goal of the subject olympiad is to identify and support the most active and gifted students of graduating classes, as well as to assess the level of subject knowledge and skills of college students and the formation of their professional competencies necessary for future pedagogical activity.

A total of 91 applications were received, which demonstrates a high level of interest in the professional-pedagogical field. The geography of participants covered almost the entire region: teams were represented by the cities of Balkhash, Priozersk, Temirtau, Saran, Shakhtinsk, and Abai, as well as students from the Karkaraly, Osakarov, Shet, Nura, Yntaly, and Abai districts, along with other areas of the region. Such broad participation highlights the significance of the olympiad and its role in developing future pedagogical professionals.

The olympiad consisted of three stages:

Stage 1 – Participants wrote essays on the topics:  «My Reflections on the Teaching Profession», «My Calling is ‘Teacher’», and  «Teacher – a Profession or a Life Position?»

Stage 2 – Completion of test tasks, including questions with a single correct answer, covering topics in general pedagogy.

Stage 3 – Presentation on the topic «Teacher – a Person Who Shapes the Future».

The participants of the olympiad were evaluated by an independent and competent jury, composed as follows:

- Chair of the Commission – Abildina S.K., Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Research Professor at the Department of Pedagogy and Primary Education Methodology;

- Deputy Chair of the Commission – Nartova T.G., Deputy Head of the Educational and Methodological Center for the Development of Education of the Karaganda Region.

Members of the Commission for Technical, Vocational, and Post-Secondary Education:

- Mukusheva M.A., Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Professional Development of the Karaganda Branch of JSC «National Center for Advanced Training ‘Orleu’»;

- Mukhamedyarova A.Z., Head of the Department for Analysis of Educational Content and Strategic Development, Educational and Methodological Center for the Development of Education of the Karaganda Region;

- Shaushekova B.K., Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Pedagogy and Primary Education Methodology.

Members of the Commission for General Secondary Education:

- Mukhametzhanova A.O., Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Primary Education Methodology;

- Tusupbaeva A.K., Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Lecturer of Pedagogy and Psychology, Karaganda Higher College Bolashaq;

- Shadetova A.K., Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Professional Development of the Karaganda Branch of JSC «National Center for Advanced Training ‘Orleu’».

Based on the results of the competition stages, the winners were determined as follows:

Technical, Vocational, and Post-Secondary Education – in the state language (Kazakh):

1st place – Akmaganbetova A., Karaganda Higher College Bolashaq;

2nd place – Daribay G., Saransk Higher Humanitarian-Technical College named after Abay Kunanbayev;

3rd place – Adilmurat Zh., Karaganda College of Arts named after Tattimbet.

Technical, Vocational, and Post-Secondary Education – in Russian:

1st place – Bocharnikov A., Karaganda Higher College Bolashaq;

2nd place – Klevtsova D., Karaganda Higher Humanitarian College;

3rd place (tie) – Katkova K., Saransk Higher Humanitarian-Technical College named after Abay Kunanbayev; Bolotskikh E., Karaganda College of Arts named after Tattimbet; Grudacheva A., Karaganda Higher Humanitarian College.

In the field of general secondary education in the state language:

1st place – Nurzhanqyzy N., KGU «Secondary School №10 named after Nurken Abdirov» in the village of Zharly;

2nd place – Zaurbek N., KGU «School-Gymnasium №7 named after S. Seifullin» of the Department of Education of the city of Balkhash; Mahanbetkhalieva Zh., KGU «Lyceum №9» of the Department of Education of the city of Temirtau; Zadaeva A., KGU «Secondary School №82» of the city of Karaganda;

3rd place – Sagyndyk T., KGU «Gymnasium named after M. Zhumabayev» of the city of Karaganda; Kariev Zh., KGU «Secondary School №10» of the city of Temirtau; Kanat K., KGU «School-Gymnasium named after Al-Farabi» of the city of Karaganda; Zhantileu A., KGU «Boarding School under the Support School (RO) named after A. Bokeykhan» in the village of Aktogay.

In the field of general secondary education in the Russian language:

1st place – Nazarko R., KGU «Specialized School-Lyceum of Information Technologies «Ozat»» of the city of Temirtau;

2nd place – Kannazarova A., KGU «School-Lyceum named after Sh. Ualikhanov» of Abai District;

3rd place – Vinogradova A., KGU «Secondary School №10» of the city of Temirtau; Linnik M., KGU «Secondary School named after Ibrai Altynsarin» in the village of Senokosnoye, Osakarovsky District.

The winners were awarded diplomas, and all participants received certificates.
