EMPLOYERS’ EXPECTATIONS OF UNIVERSITY GRADUATES

Within the framework of the Winter School “Academic Foresight: leadership strategies and educational innovations – 2026”, a meeting with key employers – heads and representatives of such organizations as Municipal state institution “School-Lyceum No. 66”, N.Nurmakov Specialized regional boarding school-lyceum, Municipal state-owned enterprise “Zhuldyz Nursery school”, Administration management of Department of economic investigation on Karaganda region, EcoExpert LLP, Municipal state institution “Karaganda Forestry and Wildlife Protection Agency”, JSC “Kazakhtelekom” and others was held on January 14, 2026, at Karaganda National Research University. The meeting was conducted in an open dialogue format.During the discussion, employer representatives shared their expectations of university graduates and discussed the key competencies and skills required for a successful professional career. Based on the outcomes of the meeting, recommendations were developed to improve educational programs and enhance the practical skills of students.
