The grand opening of a sports court was held on the grounds of the Student Houses. The multifunctional court can host not only football matches but also basketball games and other sporting events.Rector N. O. Dulatbekov noted that the university places particular emphasis on developing its sports infrastructure, with new sports arenas being built annually:“Many guests attended the event. We would like to express our special gratitude to our friends from the People's Republic of China and to Mario Kindelan, who worked at our university for a month. Today we are opening a new sports court. All this is for you, for your health and development. May this court always serve our students!”Mario Kindelan wished the university success and new achievements.“I want to express my gratitude to this country and this university. It is a great honor for me to be with you today. As a token of my gratitude, I present one of my awards, which I received at the World Championships.” And I'm confident that the most worthy place for it is here, at this university."Following the ceremony, a mini-football competition among faculty, staff, and students was held on the new field. Delicious treats awaited all those in attendance: fresh baursaks, aromatic pilaf, and warming tea.
