Advanced training of teachers: the course "Actual problems of general and theoretical physics"

The Faculty of Additional Education, together with the Faculty of Physics and Technology of the Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov, successfully implemented an advanced training course for teaching staff on the topic "Actual problems of general and theoretical physics". The training was organized in the amount of 80 academic hours in a mixed (online/offline) format.The purpose of the course is to improve the professional competence of teachers in the field of modern physics and to increase the level of pedagogical skills. Modern scientific concepts and unsolved problems in classical mechanics, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics and other fields are considered.The course participants got acquainted with the use of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, and also discussed issues of scientific ethics and the integration of research results into educational practice.A special feature of the course was the active involvement of students in practical and research activities: performing analytical and project tasks, developing methodological solutions, discussing ethical aspects of science and education.The implementation of this program has become another step of the university towards ensuring high-quality education and supporting the professional growth of teachers.
