On May 22-23, 2025, the team of our university took the 1st place in the XVII RSO by the EP “Restaurant and hotel business”, which was held based on Almaty Management University (AlmaU)
The Olympiad included 5 stages:
- preparation of a video clip/video presentation by the topic “Customer Experience – creating an unforgettable experience in the field of restaurant and hotel business”;
- preparation of project work by the topic: “Creating a digital virtual hotel/restaurant: from concept to customer experience”;
- captains’ competition “Checking the room’s readiness to receive guests”;
- “Lemonade Symphony” competition - developing an idea and making lemonade;
- intellectual quiz “SOP standards when checking into a hotel”.
Our team: Abatov Merey (the 3rd course student), Akhmadeyeva Angelina (the 2nd course student), Kasymova Leyla (the 2nd course student).
Scientific leaders: Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor Tashenova Larissa Vladimirovna, PhD, Associate Professor Ayaganova Meiramgul Pazylovna.
In the 2025-2026 academic year, based on our University, the Department of Marketing, the XVIII RSO by the EP “Restaurant and hotel business” will be organized.
