At the initiative of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karaganda National Research University named after Academician E. A. Buketov has been designated the anchor university for the implementation of the AI-Sana innovative project. In pursuance of Order No. 149 of November 26, 2025, issued by M. M. Umurkulova, Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, the University's Department of Academic Affairs organized a methodological and explanatory seminar for first-year undergraduate, master's, and doctoral student leaders on November 26 to actively engage them in the implementation of the AI-Sana project. The seminar was moderated by Gaukhar Zhenisovna Zhetimekova, Head of the Distance Education Center, and Ainur Kaiyrzhanovna Tusupbekova, PhD, Professor in the Department of Radiophysics and Electronics, and Administrator of the Huawei ICT Academy. The seminar provided detailed explanations of the course on mastering the basic capabilities of artificial intelligence and the certification process. To improve accessibility, a Telegram bot was launched with answers to frequently asked questions, methodological guidelines were developed in Kazakh and Russian, and video materials were provided. First-year students successfully completed the course and received the corresponding certificates, which will allow them to effectively apply their acquired knowledge in their educational activities and future professional practice.
