Transforming higher education together with EduFusion NSG!

The team from the Academician E.A. Buketov Karaganda National Research University has returned from an incredibly productive event! From February 16 to 19, 2026, professors of our university D.A. Afanasyev, S.G. Karstina, and A.K. Tussupbekova took part in the international "Train-the-Trainer Capacity-Building Workshop". The event was held at the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University in Ust-Kamenogorsk.This workshop is a crucial stage in the implementation of the four-year Erasmus+ EduFusion NSG (Edu-Fusion Network for Sustainable Growth) project. The project is co-funded by the European Union and aims to solve a global task: to align university learning outcomes as closely as possible with the actual needs of the labor market.Professors of the E.A. Buketov Karaganda National Research University - members of the Erasmus+ EduFusion NSG project - delivered presentations at key sessions such as Pedagogical Psychology and Communication, Enhancement of Learning Interactivity, Systems Thinking and Analysis, and Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship Leadership.The workshop brought together leading universities of Kazakhstan and our European partners, including teams from the University of Vigo (Spain) and the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (Portugal).
