The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed his sincere gratitude for the opening of an auditorium named after the outstanding Kyrgyz writer and world literary classic Chingiz Torekulovich Aitmatov, which took place on October 21, 2025, at the Faculty of Philology of the Karaganda National Research University named after Academician E. A. Buketov. "I am deeply pleased to note that this event has become an important contribution to strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as to perpetuating the memory of this great son of the Kyrgyz people, whose work is the common spiritual heritage of our fraternal countries. The Embassy highly appreciates the initiative of your university's leadership to create a specialized material and technical base for the study of Chingiz Aitmatov's work, analyze his works, conduct preliminary defenses of theses and master's theses, discuss scientific research, and organize roundtable discussions. We confirm our commitment to further developing cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University and your university, signed in 2024, and express confidence that our joint efforts will contribute to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between our peoples," the letter states.
