Professor Farida Pawan from Indiana University (USA) Visits Buketov Karaganda National Research University On October 28–29, Professor Farida Pawan, Professor of Learning, Design, and Adult Education, Research Fellow in Global and International Affairs, and Academic Director of the IU ASEAN Global Gateway at Indiana University Bloomington (School of Education, USA), paid an official visit to Karaganda National Research University named after аcademician Ye.A. Buketov. The delegation also included Arman Zhumazhanov, a doctoral student in the Higher Education Management (Ed.D.) program. During the visit, discussions were held on bilateral cooperation between Karaganda University and Indiana University. Special attention was given to opportunities for collaboration between the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Faculty of Education in areas such as joint educational programs, collaborative research, organization of international conferences, and preparation of academic publications. Professor Pawan was introduced to the university’s structure, the activities of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, its educational programs, and research projects. Meetings were also held with the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the University, N.O. Dulatbekov, during which the parties discussed prospects for developing academic partnerships. Professor Farida Pawan’s visit represented an important step in strengthening the international relations of Buketov Karaganda National Research University and expanding opportunities for academic mobility, collaborative projects, and the development of global educational cooperation.
