On April 7, Karaganda University named after academician E.A. Buketov was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Kazakhstan - Mr. Silvan Gioge. The delegation was also attended by Mr. Alex Bortolan - Advisor on Culture and Cooperation of the Embassy of the French Republic in Kazakhstan, Mrs. Ekaterina Firsova - Director of the French Alliance in Karaganda and Helen Garnier - French teacher of the French Alliance in Karaganda. During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation in the field of education, science and culture, including double diploma programs, were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the study of the French language in Kazakhstani universities.
